Love these things. They are they closest thing to a Microvan that we get in the US.

I’d rock it

Rare as they are, two colleagues have them, at least one is a manual.

The enthusiasts choice for being homeless, no more will we have to struggle out of an overused Sedona

We have a 2012 in red right here on this site.

Was gonna say I had a colleague
at my old job with a manual
one (handy when a bunch of us went out to lunch)
but the cars bought by
mechanical engineers tend to not be a representative sample of the population at large.

I like those, nice practical size, if I had to have only one vehicle...

Honda Fit--or is that too small to be considered a van? even micro.

The fit doesn’t have those dank sliding doors

2nd-gen Kia Rondos were sold in Canada, but not the U.S., and you could get the lowest trim with a manual .

I have one and a Transit Connect. The Ford is the better overall mi ni minivan...the Mazda is the preferable drive.
Carmax has a manual 5 right now for 10k....4-5 isn’t unreasonable for a manual previous gen.

or a 3rd row

wait, the 5 has a third row?? I never even noticed
2+2+2, only six passengers with three rows. Guess that just shows how narrow it is.

Yes, Full of Grand fury.

Woah, that is a car I never knew existed. Does that compete with the Chevy Orlando? Even the first gen Rondo is very obscure.

Did someone call me? I thought I heard my name mentioned...
Did a little Svending the other day; well, I cleaned the wheels. I hate getting in there and getting the brake dust from between the spokes so I bought a set of brushes that you put in the drill. Unbelievably easy and efficient, and well worth the $20 I spent on a set of seven. The one below did an awesome job on the wheels with just a little diluted all-purpose cleaner - no harsh chemicals required.
As I once told my ex, there is no job that a man won’t do if somehow power tools can be involved.
And why does that as say “Toyota Mazda5”? Does the idea of saying “Mazda Mazda5” sounds ridiculous? Yes. The answer to that question is ‘yes’.

Still in love with mine eight years on. I may buy other cars but none of them will be a replacement for this one. I’ve had dealers ask what they can do to sell me another car. I tell them that I’ll be happy to make a purchase when I can get another sporty minivan with a 6MT, or in other words, never.

Us network engineers think the same way. This is a left-brain car.

It caught my eye extra as I noticed it was the same color as your car.

It was a common color on that generation of 5, but one year only on mine. If I buy an NC Miata I want it in this same color just because.

Oh man. I was *this* close on two occasions to buy this exact color in stick shift. It would have gone well with my similarly burgundy-type-of-color 84 Toyota Van 5MT. The first time we decided that with baby #3, we really should step up to a proper minivan. The second time, the crash ratings for the 2nd gen scared me off. I may still get one someday :)
